Carpooling with her roommate and teammate, the plan was to head straight to the party without any detours. Little did Kayla know that destiny had other plans. As they pulled up to the party venue, her roommate hesitated, suggesting they freshen up before joining the celebrations. Kayla’s response, casual and carefree, would unknowingly set the stage for a life-changing encounter. “No, it’s fine. We’ll never see most of these people again anyway,” she said with a chuckle.
Yet, in a twist of fate, one of those “people” turned out to be Alec, her future husband. Their connection was instant, and what was meant to be a fleeting encounter turned into a lifetime of togetherness. As time unfolded, their bond grew stronger, surviving the challenges of long-distance and blossoming into a love that was meant to last.
A New York City Proposal
Love stories are often defined by the moments that take our breath away, and Alec’s proposal did just that. High above the bustling streets of New York City, on the 91st floor, Alec got down on one knee and proposed to Kayla after years of long distance dating. The thousands of photos were so fitting to the way Kayla makes Alec pose every time they have special moments to remember.

Fast forward to May 21st, a day that would mark the next chapter of their journey. Set against the picturesque backdrop of the Hillside Estate near Dallas, TX, Alec and Kayla’s wedding was a celebration of love, life, and the promise of forever. The groom and his men looked dapper in their black tuxedos, while the bride was a vision of grace and beauty in her gown that stole the show.
One couldn’t help but be captivated by the vibrant and lively atmosphere, as guests arrived dressed in their finest, embracing the spirit of the occasion.
