The Plunks’ luxury wedding at The Mason Dallas, with its swanky, classic, and modern vibes, was a perfect reflection and celebration of Mikena and Alex’s love story.
One of the most rewarding aspects of being a wedding photographer is establishing a strong rapport with the couple. In the case of Mikena and Alex, I had the pleasure of building a wonderful relationship with the bride. We bantered, had fun, and developed a deep understanding of her style and vision. By the time their wedding day arrived, I felt like a trusted friend, ready to capture every precious moment.

Mikena, originally from California, wanted to infuse her wedding with elements that reflected her roots. From the decor and flowers to the invitations, California’s charm was beautifully woven into the fabric of the day. Even Mikena’s wedding dress was a reflection of home! Meticulously crafted by Chynna Pope, the gown perfectly showcased Mikena’s style and personality, making her feel like the radiant bride she was. And let’s not forget the veil! Mikena opted for a longer veil to add a touch of drama to her ensemble, and it was a stunning choice. It was a joy to capture these details, as they added a personal touch and made the day even more meaningful for the couple.
